FAQ

1) What is holistic wellness and how is it different from traditional therapy?
Holistic wellness looks at the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle. Instead of treating one symptom, we combine evidence-based therapy with complementary services such as nutrition counseling, bodywork, and private yoga to address root causes of stress, anxiety, pain, and fatigue. Many clients choose a customized plan that may include talk therapy plus nutrition support for energy and mood, or bodywork for TMJ or tension. This integrated approach helps you feel better sooner and sustain results.

2) How do I know which service is right for me?
Start with your top goal. For example, choose therapy for anxiety, trauma, relationships, or life transitions. Pick nutrition counseling for energy, digestion, or hormonal balance. Select bodywork for neck, jaw, or back pain and stress relief. Private yoga helps with mobility, breath, and nervous-system regulation. Not sure where to begin? Book a short consultation. We will review your history, medications, and current routines, then recommend a step-by-step plan tailored to your needs and schedule.
-
3) Do you accept insurance and what are the payment options?
Therapy services may be in-network or out-of-network depending on your plan. Many clients use out-of-network benefits and submit a superbill for reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are typically accepted for eligible services. Nutrition, bodywork, and private yoga are often self-pay. We will verify benefits when possible, provide transparent pricing before your first visit, and outline options to keep care affordable. Ask us about package rates for combined services.
-
4) What should I expect at my first visit?
Plan 60–90 minutes. You will complete a brief intake and share your goals, medical history, current stressors, and any food, sleep, or movement patterns. Your practitioner will explain how therapy, nutrition, bodywork, or yoga can help, set realistic milestones, and answer questions. For bodywork or yoga, wear comfortable clothing. You will leave with a clear, personalized care plan that may include between-session practices to accelerate progress.

5) Do you offer in-person and telehealth? Where are you located?
Yes. Therapy sessions are available in person and via secure telehealth for clients located in eligible states. Nutrition consults may be virtual or in person. Bodywork and private yoga are offered in studio. Our office is in Springfield, NJ, convenient to Short Hills, Summit, Millburn, and Chatham, with on-site parking and accessible entry. When you book, you will receive directions, parking details, and arrival instructions.

6) How many sessions will I need and when will I notice results?
Everyone is different, but most clients notice positive changes within 2–4 visits when combining consistent sessions with simple at-home practices. A typical plan might start weekly for therapy, then taper to biweekly as goals are met. Bodywork and private yoga often begin weekly or biweekly, while nutrition check-ins may be every 2–4 weeks. We will review progress at each visit and adjust frequency to fit your goals, timeline, and budget.
