Our Team
Laura Goren, Ma, LAC
Laura supports adults seeking greater ease and resilience in the face of life’s stressors. She has a particular focus on working with individuals experiencing anxiety, cancers, chronic pain or illness, and parenting-related challenges. With compassion and curiosity, Laura partners with clients to clarify their personal goals and develop practical coping tools that align with their values, strengths, and lifestyles.
Drawing from evidence-based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches—Laura tailors her work to each person’s unique needs.
With both professional training and lived experience as a parent, Laura offers deep empathy and attentive presence. She creates a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment.
Believing each client is the expert of their own life, Laura’s role is to walk alongside them on the path toward greater stability, clarity, and inner peace. Clients often describe her as warm, calm, and grounding.
